After graduating from Furman University in Greenville, SC, Elliott Keller moved back home to Clayton, Georgia and began Keller Furniture in 1964. He started off in a small store on East Savannah Street where he sold home furnishings, television sets, and appliances. After a few years his brother Dan joined the business and became a partner in Keller Furniture and the store moved to its current day location just on the other side of the main red light in historic downtown Clayton. In 1992 Elliott's son Tony graduated from the University of Georgia and moved back to Clayton. He joined his Dad and Uncle at the store with sales and delivery. In 2003 Dan sold his ownership in the store to Tony and Tony and Elliott became partners. Now Elliott is mostly retired and works two days a week. Tony's nephew Brent has joined the staff doing sales and deliveries. Elliott's wife Lynne works on Saturdays and helps to keep the showroom decorated beautifully and Tony's wife Lori comes in after hours to help manage the finances. We are truly a family owned and operated business since 1964. If you call or come by you are guaranteed to be speaking and working with a Keller family member.
